Today in class we looked at examples of pencil shading techniques that use pattern and texture instead of the traditional shading with the side of the pencil.

We spent one hour outside doing sketching of the surrounding environment using these texture and pattern techniques. Here's an example of what your sketch should look like:
Once completed, this sketch should be uploaded to the "Pencil Sketch 02: Outdoor Scene" dropbox.
